Radian’s RP Series subwoofer systems
are designed specifically for
touring/live sound system applications.
The RPS-115, single 15”, and
RPS-215, a dual 15”, are designed to
provide extended low-frequency
response for high SPL live and playback
applications.
Both the RPS-115 and RPS-215 feature
a composite ribbed cone reinforced
with Kevlar®. The 4” voice coil
is edgewound aluminum for better
transient response, but advanced
adhesives give it the power handling
capacity of more conventional copper
voice coils. The RPS-115 and RPS-215
are capable of genuine 124-127 dB
SPL, from 40 Hz to 500 Hz or 35 Hz
to 500 Hz with 6 dB to spare for
peak output.
Add this to a high-energy magnetic
structure with a venturi cross section
to increase efficient ventilation,
and the result is a highly responsive
subwoofer system that delivers robust
bass at high SPLs. |
